just wanted to practice blocking in an image really fast.
aah these are really, really bad. i have a lot of trouble drawing things consistently, trying to just throw out a ton of quick sketches and hoping that the consistency will eventually show up x_x and by quick i mean an hour. lawl >_>
haven’t done a study in a while, referenced a photo for this, what a mess haha, this also took me way too long to paint…possibly 4 hours. it could probably have been more polished but i have a lot of other stuff to work on right now ><
i didn’t update this blog for the entire month of august because i spent 3 weeks in the UK (which i loved) and was too lazy to scan anything for the last 2 weeks.
i had to throw away one of the sketchbooks i’d completed this year because it was right next to a drawing board that was starting to rot away. Some kind of insect started to eat away at the wood but it didn’t eat the paper of the sketchbook or the cabinet though, it was gross and bizarre as hell. god i leave for 3 weeks and THIS happens. There was so much (i assume) dried digested wood stuck to the book i didn’t even want to bother trying to salvage it. aurgh -_-
wip :x
looked through my folders and came across a piece i drew in late may that i never posted here. i realised it wasn’t quite as bad or disastrous as i thought it was and i think i know how to fix it…
played around in pchat with a friend today. there definitely needs to be some kind of software that allows collaborative drawing and chatting. pchat lags my browser :/
yeah, i gave up on the mountains after a while :/

i haven’t done speed studies in a long long time, tried out a rather unorthodox method for this one and it didn’t quite work, heh ><
